First Tooth-GONE!
Cate lost her first tooth! We were in the car on the way home from daddy's game and she turned to her Nan (who is in town visiting) and told her she was ready for Nan to pull it (Nan had offered to do it earlier, but Cate was not interested). The tooth fairy came last night and left $5 under the pillow! The TF was nice enough to leave mom and dad the first tooth for keepsake purposes. I was amazed at how fast it happened. In three days she has lost one tooth and has another one about ready to come out. The tooth fairy is going to be making frequent appearances in the Purtell household for a while!

ReplyDeleteUh...please don't tell Dani how nice your tooth fairy is! She will feel pretty jipped (sp?) She already has a complex b/c the tooth fairy "forget" to come one night when her tooth was under her pillow. She can't find out how cheap hers is, too! BAD parents we are!

Well, I think the going rate around here is $5 for the first, and then a few bucks for the others. If they all start to fall out one after the other, the tooth fairy will be broke. She was so sweet about the money. She wanted to use it to buy her hot cocoa that we were getting at Starbucks the next morning for breakfast. But, her sweet Nan bought it for her instead.
