Most kids enjoy cartoons and nothing else. Here, we are a little more "cultured"-ha! Our favorite show to watch together is Good Eats. We love the science, historical explanations, and all the fun things he does. I have seriously thought about buying the series on DVD to show to my future students if I ever get to teach science (my dream job). I have already dreamed up an entire teaching unit based on GE episodes. I also have a little "thing" for Alton-LOL! Cate already likes to cook, so I am hoping some more exposure to the Food Network will get her loving being in the kitchen like her daddy (unlike mommy).
Alton sure does know how to get, and keep, the kids attention!
