Wow! November flew by and I realized I haven't posted to the blog in a long time! Whoopsi! Anyway, I FINALLY uploaded all of my pics from my camera so I figured I would do a few blog posts while I could; aka kids are sleeping and I have time for once. I started working again (thankfully), so that is my excuse for not being more prompt with my pictures and blog. Here are our pics from when we had movie night, Space Camp (80's classic by my standards), and making ice cream in a bag (our version of astronaut ice cream).
combine in a small zipoc bag 1 cup milk (or half and half), 1/2 tsp vanilla and 2 tbs sugar *seal*. Then, in a gallon ziploc bag, put 6 Tbs rocksalt and fill up halfway with ice. Put the smaller bag into the larger bag, seal, and shake shake shake !(for about 5-7 minutes) Voila! Ice cream!
The shaking wore them out. They about fell asleep during the movie! I had to do the last 2 minutes or so.
Enjoying the fruits of their labor with some m&m's of course! It wasn't Blue Bell, but it was actually edible!
