Today is my baby's 2nd birthday. Yes, Claire is officially 2. We had a nice day together. She got to watch a Dora movie, we went to eat lunch with Daddy, wear our birthday crown all day and look so pretty, and got lots of hugs and kisses. There was also some toilet play (not planned). I just keep telling myself pee is sterile! We are going to have a birthday party next week for her and Cara (whose actual birthday is not until January) and go to Sea World. Now for those of you wondering why I am doing that, you see SW closes on Dec 31st . The girls all love SW, so the only way we could have the parties there, is if we go now. Also, since the girls had the good fortune of being born during basketball season* ( um, not)*, we have to plan around games and such. So, we will be off to SW and have a Dora/Strawberry Shortcake Party! More info on that in another post. In the meantime, enjoy a trip down memory lane!
Thank you, God, for my little light, my sweet Claire Ella. She makes me laugh and is so very sweet. She keeps me busy and makes me a better mom. You made our family complete when you sent her to us. Guide me to teach her all about you; to show her just how wonderful and precious she is.
