June!

Sorry I have been a bad blogger lately! Our June has been quite busy! Ryan and Cate got out of school the first week of June. We have really enjoyed our summer so far! We have been swimming and gone to the zoo with some friends. Ryan got a smoker for Father's Day and we enjoyed having a cookout. Mostly, we have enjoyed staying up late, eating ice cream, and playing outside, although it has been so hot lately that we don't even think about stepping out until late evening. Ryan has open gym for a few hours everyday, but it has been wonderful having him home! Ashley has taken some time off as well from working (and boy has it been wonderful)!!



We also went to VBS at Wayside and had a blast! The theme this year was Crocodile Dock-Fear Not! I included a video of the girls dancing to one of the songs we learned. Ashley volunteered as a Crew Guide and had tons of fun. The girls absolutely loved it! This week, we are taking it easy and Ashley has a MOPS retreat this weekend. Pray for Ryan as he will be with the kids all by himself for 2 1/2 days-eek! Next week, we plan on driving up to visit with family and friends and celebrating the 4th. We will be celebrating our 12 year anniversary in July and hope to go to the beach for a family vacation as well. I love summer!
